EXTERIOR + CASE: The case is in good condition and the shiny black gloss finish is stunning. A few very minor scratches that are hard to detect. 

PERFORMANCE: Everything feels light and airy on this typewriter. A wonderful flow for active writers. We've given the keys an extra cleaning after the demo video and they are nice and smooth.  No issues detected. Only needs a light touch. Ready for your thoughts. THIS LISTING INCLUDES A 6-MO WARRANTY

With the warranty option, we will cover any mechanical issues NOT mentioned in the listing or demo video that result from regular daily use for 6 months, starting from the day our tracking information shows that the typewriter was delivered. We recommend taking out your typewriter immediately and testing it for any issues.

This warranty covers any mechanical or operational issues that occur during the course of normal use. Examples: keys not functioning or operational, carriage no longer working due to a broken drawband or other issue, a space bar stops working, paper feed rollers no longer pulling in the paper, etc. It also covers motor failure on electric typewriters. These are some examples of common issues with typewriters and are not an exhaustive list of coverage.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, food or drink spills, dropping, or other accidental damage. Damage such as bent or broken parts is not covered (unless it is a result of shipping). It also does not cover water damage or any incidents arising from an accident or improper use. Paint or exterior damage is also not covered.

IMPORTANT! Do NOT attempt to repair the typewriter yourself. Any effort at repair on your part VOIDS THIS WARRANTY! This includes opening the bottom or side panels or accessing the mechanics and making adjustments. Please contact us first at hello@jotandtittletypewriters.com, and Rob will guide you as to what to do.

We will always attempt to address issues over the phone or email first. If the problem remains unresolved, we'll provide instructions for returning the typewriter for repair. If there are damages as a direct result of shipping, please notify us immediately.

The customer is responsible for the cost of getting the typewriter TO US for repairs. 

Jot & Tittle Vintage Typewriters will cover the cost of repairs and return shipping TO YOU.
